During the annual 2026 Fellows Induction Ceremony on 18 May in Washington, DC, 3 Honorary Fellows and 28 Fellows were recognized for their extraordinary accomplishments.
2026 AIAA Honorary Fellows (L to R): Daniel J. Scheeres, University of Colorado Boulder; Laura J. McGill, Sandia National Laboratories; and Steven H. Walker, Lockheed Corporation (retired). At ASCEND 2026, Dan Hastings, AIAA Immediate Past President, passed the gavel to new AIAA President Keoki Jackson. Jackson will serve a two-year term as president. Hastings will serve as chair of the AIAA Foundation Board of Trustees for a two-year term.
