Collection Chronicling Artemis Program Available in ARC Digital Library
As NASA counts down to the Artemis II launch, AIAA is pleased to release the most recent technical content published on the Artemis program.
We recognize the countless professionals across the aerospace industry involved in the Artemis program. These innovators have chronicled their work by authoring articles for the Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets and presenting meeting papers at AIAA SciTech Forum (2024–2026). Their original research results and technological progress on Artemis have been published in AIAA’s vast digital library, Aerospace Research Central (ARC). The Artemis II collection is complimentary this year as we celebrate the Artemis II mission.
Going to space is a team sport. AIAA salutes the lead contractors contributing to the success of Artemis: Lockheed Martin for the Orion spacecraft; Aerojet Rocketdyne, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Teledyne Brown for the powerful Space Launch System (SLS); and Jacobs for the Exploration Ground Systems. We salute the European Space Agency and Airbus for their contribution to the Orion spacecraft – the European Service Module. We also commend the thousands of companies across the supply chain who are supporting these organizations.
AIAA is thrilled to see the nation’s space program return to the moon to ensure American leadership in space. Go Artemis!
